PWM is more accurate, energy saving and fully automatic way of controlling the fan speed (RPM). (compared to voltage regulation) PWM is widely available on all current Intel and AMD platform based motherboards and it enables ultra quiet acoustics during normal PC use and high performance cooling under high system load.

Smart fans can be used on a CPU cooler as well as a chassis or radiator fans. Combined with optional AK-CB002 cable adapter (connects three fans to PWM connector) is an ideal solution for building performance and ultra quiet systems, with all fans running at controlled speeds regulated by system load and CPU temperature. Siliconized rubber fan mounts are provided for easy mounting and ultra quiet acoustics.
